No. 9 measures approximately 7.5 inches wide by 9 3/4 inches tall. It was painted with acrylic paint on acid free paper and then varnished. I painted No. 9 in March 2009.

Line, color, texture, and space have fascinated me for more than a decade. Consequently, my subject matter tends to be abstract and geometric. Composition, design, and structure are major concerns. I work deliberately knowing that inevitable problems in execution will revise and transcend the original idea. Ultimately, I want to create iconic, sophisticated, aesthetic, and wonderfully flawed images that look “right” - a never ending search for quality.
