Place No. 12

No. 12 was finished in June 2009. My wife commissioned this one for our newly redecorated bedroom. One of my new favorites.

Statement

Line, color, texture, and space have fascinated me for more than a decade. Consequently, my subject matter tends to be abstract and geometric. Composition, design, and structure are major concerns. I work deliberately knowing that inevitable problems in execution will revise and transcend the original idea. Ultimately, I want to create iconic, sophisticated, aesthetic, and wonderfully flawed images that look “right” - a never ending search for quality.
